Marti Chocolatt, a chocolate and confectionery company that brings a unique taste of modernity and cultural awareness to the palate. Tonet Tibay, the chocolatier behind Marti Chocolatt, has her own niche and style by using traditional French techniques infused with ingredients from the Philippines creating a repartee of the most delectable kind.
This sweet venture that began at the ECOLE LENOTRE in the outskirts of Paris, France, has grown from handcrafting chocolates, to catering desserts to major events, and teaching chocolate making techniques and applications to students around the world.
In the past three years, Tonet took part at the SIRHA in Lyon and EUROPAIN in Paris, creating chocolate themed dishes alongside top European chefs and did demonstrations for El Rey Chocolates.
Chocolatier Tonet Tibay was voted one of the Best Chocolatiers in America by The International Chocolate Salon from 2010 to 2018, and Marti Chocolatt has won awards and accolades at events and competitions in major US Cities. Forbes rated Marti Chocolatt as one of the Best Artisan Chocolate for Gift Giving.
Tonet advocates for sustainable livelihood through cacao and coffee farming, and is a delegate of Mission Haiti- a not for profit service organization that is devoted to building schools, orphanages, medical clinics, and creating sustainable development projects in Haiti
